Working knowledge of EMC/EMI specification and accreditation requirements.Working knowledge of EMC/EMI testing requirements.Familiar with use of MS Office suite of tools: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.Flexibility and willingness to work offsite or conduct shift work, where required.Comfortable dealing with customers at all levels.Ability to address testing in parallel with reporting.Self-driven with a clear focus on high quality.A degree in an engineering or technical discipline, or suitable technical diploma.Work within the controls and constraints of an ISO/IEC 17025 Quality System.Involvement in Continuous Improvement projects.Provide training to engineers regarding specialist area.Develop as specialist in a specific area of testing i.e.Assistance to the sales team with provision of information to enable quote generation.Validation of clients’ requirements (may require site visits).Provide help to customers during their EMC test program and general consultancy prior to start of job.Test procedure generation including provision of photos and measurement uncertainty calculations.Test equipment / method development and evaluation.
EMC testing in both screened enclosure and in-situ environments.Provide assistance to customers before and during the test process, the successful applicant will be customer facing as well as working to support the commercial sales and operations teams within the business.
